Fitness Beyond Fifty Just because you're into your fifties (or sixties) doesn't stop you getting into Aerobics, Swimming, Badminton, or other activities. Maintaining your physical fitness becomes more important the older you are. Regular suitable exercise can really benefit our bodies. The Welsh Institute of Sport offers a range of exercise and sports activities to suit everyone. This leaflet contains details of activities and sessions which are specifically for the Over 50s. If you haven't exercised for a while, have an existing medical condition for which you're being treated or any other concerns about your health, have a chat with your G.P. before taking part in any physical activity.
