The role of the Centre has been gradually changing since its inception with a greater emphasis being placed upon the provision of services for the top echelon of sports men and women throughout Wales. This however has not changed the management philosophy of continuous improvement and commitment to all our customers.

The Centre has a long history of co-operation with other partner organisations with a view to producing the best quality services available in the most efficient and effective manner possible. This is highlighted by the provision of office facilities for both National Governing Body Coaches and the Federation of Disability Sport Wales. These contacts have helped the Centre stay firmly in tune with its end user whether it be an Olympic athlete or a casual squash player and has led to a level of customer care not often seen in a sports centre of this size.
