Artificial Pitch
The Institute's international standard permeable artificial pitch is adjacent to the main building and one of the home international venues for Welsh Hockey. Grandstand and bench seating is available and the floodlit pitch is used for hockey, lacrosse and football.

Tennis Courts
Three all weather courts provide outdoor tennis practice facilities. They are also marked out for netball and five-a-side football.
Grass Area
The Institute also boasts its own full size rugby pitch which is floodlit and provides the Welsh National Team with convenient training facilities in the centre of Cardiff and within walking distance of Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
