Customer Services

Prime purpose of the section is to manage the facility booking process of the Institute. Customer Services liaises with all customer groups from initial enquiry through to issuing of invoices. This section also greets all personal callers to the Institute and acts as a first contact for all bookings.

Operations

Tasked with ensuring all facilities within the Institute are of the highest standard, the Operations section maintains all equipment from badminton raquets used by casual pay and play customers right up to the latest in gymnastics equipment used in fully fledged international competition.

Maintenance

Staffed by highly qualified tradesmen, the Maintenance section within the Institute is tasked with maintaining the entire facility, including the various facilities contained in our extensive grounds. The skills contained within the section allow maintenance programmes to be carried out in almost every aspect of facility management.

Catering/Accommodation

As well as providing nutritious meals for both members of the public and elite athletes the Institute can accommodate up to 53 residents in its ensuite accommodation block. The combination of both accommodation and catering allow many governing bodies of sport and visiting teams to use the Institute as a 'one stop shop' for both training and competition. In addition it also provides a valuable resource for Cardiff 's tourism market, providing an additional accommodation resource for the growing event market.
